Our mission is to “Love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19) and to show that love by providing a home for women in crisis (1 John 3:16) while upholding Christian principles and biblical truths. Avonlea Acres is a home where grace is extended; growth is a process; and boundaries are upheld.

Avonlea Acres is a home based on faith, hope and love; practicing hospitality; promoting spiritual growth; celebrating life; and embracing each woman in her unique situation as being created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27). By adopting the essence of Isaiah 61:1-3, we aim to help the residents realize a “crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” In this way Avonlea Acres will affect generations.
